These Changing Woman, Changing Man illustrations were created as a collaboration with Portland, Oregon poet Kristin Berger. Each of the 11 illustrations reflects a passage from her lyrical poem depicting two iconic figures who deeply resonate with the arid landscape of Eastern Oregon, as times looming large as gods and at times taking up no more space than a bee and shimmering like a rainbow. These magical characters were irresistible to me and they led me along the path to create this suite of images. To read further about the project, click here.
